Dr.-Ing. Hui Liu was born in China and received his initial academic education including his B.S. and M.S. in his home country. After a scholarship in Australia he joined the CELISCA team at Rostock's university, where he works scientifically in the field of mobile robotics. Here he received the Dr.-Ing. degree and extended his scientific activities to intelligent methods for mobile robotics in life sciences - one of the most emerging topics in the field of laboratory automation. His habil thesis was written as a monography and contains several breakthrough theories, models and technologies developed by the author.
On October 24th Dr. Liu defended this thesis- honored by the comments of international and national experts in this field of work.
